PCAA Scholarships
Available to rural or remote practitioners practicing in Australia or New Zealand

One Scholarship offered per course

As part of our commitment to support rural and remote practitioners PCAA is offering one scholarship place for each of PCAA's 2012 workshops**

           Scholarship requirements:

  • One workshop scholarship only, per individual practitioner or practice, per year
  • Scholarship applicants must be a current resident of Australia or New Zealand
  • Applicants must also be fully licensed physiotherapists who completed their physiotherapy training in Australia or New Zealand

The practitioner applying for the scholarship must:

  • Be currently treating in a rural and remote location for a minimum of 12 months prior to the workshop date with an indication of continuing to work in this location for a further 12 months
  • Or have accepted a position in a rural and remote location that is to begin within one month of the workshop date and demonstrate documentation supporting this commitment (e.g., contract or letter from potential employer ) indicating  will be a 12 month commitment to the rural/remote position
  • Be fluent in English (reading and writing) and have graduated with a Degree in Physiotherapy (from an accredited Institution)
  • Be treating musculoskelatal pain as well as utilising exercise prescription in their treatment plans
  • Be able to clearly identify and clarify in writing what benefits attending a specific PCAA workshop will offer  you and how you will be able to use this upskilling information to assist the services you offer in your location
  • Must show evidence of being passionate and dedicated to improving your clinical skills since graduating
  • After attendance must be willing to pass along the knowledge gained to your professional or Allied Health associates   (if applicable)

Note: PCAA's Scholarships cover the cost of the participant's tuition only. Travel, accommodation and meal expenses are not covered in the scholarship and will remain the practitioner's responsibility.

How to apply for a Scholarship:
