Neck and Shoulder
This course provides a comprehensive functional anatomy review that will permit you to identify and immediately treat the cervical or thoracic spine if it has tested positive to contributing to a shoulder problem. The integration of neural, muscle and joint techniques to treat neck and shoulder pain and corrective exercise programming that the patient will enjoy understanding and doing comprises the practical component of this course.

This workshop is part of PCAA's Strand 1 accelerated upskilling workshops, which help make treating even the most complex patient both easier and more rewarding! We invite you to our Private Practice Upskilling workshop which is run on the Friday prior to the 1.5 clinical days. For details please refer to Strand 2.

- Refine neural and muscle tests
- Identify significant trigger points
- Significance of 01/C1 contribution to shoulder pain
- 2 minute Tq's to eliminate the Cervical or Thoracic Spine component of a shoulder problem
- Quick tips for the client to learn how to downtrain phasic muscles prior to even commencing any stability work
- Basic neck and shoulder stability and stretching and progressions - many fun exercises for excellent patient compliance
- Simplifying shoulder taping for postural correction
All our workshops offer innovative exercise, assessment and treatment techniques based on current available research. After completion of even one workshop, both your patients and you will notice your expertise will move to a new level.
