I had been using RTUS for a couple of years ...

I had been using RTUS for a couple of years to retrain PF, TrA and multifidus but had always struggled with finding the deep hip muscles of QF and posterior fibres of Glute medius. After having done PCAA's excellent course, I am now completely confident to use this modality to retrain the hip stabilisers with patients.

The structure of the course was very informative, concise and fast moving. The revision of the hip anatomy was really useful, then we went onto patient positioning, ultrasound head placement and the verbal cues necessary to get the best contraction of the muscle. I found the QA very helpful especially covering common mistakes made when ultrasounding this area (eg troubleshooting ideas).

All in all this course was well worthwhile -- I particularly liked the fact that it was only 4 hours long -- and NOT on the weekend.

Thanks, PCAA!
